The Opportunity

Nigel Wright are delighted to be working with an on going partner in 2024 with the recruitment of a Digital Product Manager for there business. Working in the Digital & Data Team you will be working with internal stakeholders to help implement and support innovative digital products for internal colleagues. Our client is a leading national care home business dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our residents. There mission is to enhance the quality of life for our residents through compassionate care, innovative services, and a commitment to excellence. You will develop and execute product strategies, lead product development, and manage supplier relationships. There are 2 external systems my client is implementing, so supplier management background is key to the role. The role will be a key part of our digital transformation.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure roadmaps and backlogs are created, defined and understood across the business and implemented accordingly
  • Implement change across a wide range of products, ensuring work is planned and coordinated across the wider team
  • Gathers data to come up with ideas for new products and features
  • Analyses market and competition data to create products to match and surpass industry standards
  • Manages testing to detect and fix issues to make improvements
  • Be a strong advocate of agile across the wider business
  • Communicate with various stakeholders including designers, engineers, developers and SME’s including both internal and external stakeholders
  • Work as part of an agile development team

Experience
  • If you have a strong Product Management background, have experience of working on colleague centric products (not essential) and enjoy creating product vision and strategies get in touch.

Office Work
  • This is a hybrid role, there is no strict expectation to be in the office a number of days, but there will be time at the office in Darlington, which will be main place of work. It will involve occasional travel to our care homes and other office in London too.
