Our client, a major UK retail bank, provides every day banking services to over 17 million retail customers. The banks expertise and services span across Business Services, Corporate banking, Wealth Management, Group Functions, Retail and Investment Banking.

On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Product Owner (Credit Card Retention) for a 6 Months contract based Remotely (UK)

Purpose of the Role:

As Product Owner (Credit Card Retention) you will support the development and implementation of a Credit Card Retention strategy. A key aspect of the role will be to set up a mechanism to track customer and balance paydowns.

Responsibilities of the role:

As a Product Owner (Credit Card Retention) you will be responsible for:

  • Work with stakeholders to devise innovative retention strategies.
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills to set up mechanisms for tracking customer behaviors and balance paydowns. Create and monitor financial forecasts to inform retention strategies.
  • Use PowerPoint to build and present compelling cases/stories that articulate current forecasting, retention measures, and improvement strategies.
  • Develop and implement digital/mobile communication plans to engage customers, from ideation to execution, working efficiently with stakeholders.

What we require from the candidate:

  • A high level of commercial/financial expertise with a strong understanding of financial forecasts, customer retention, and balance tracking.
  • Experience in credit card portfolio management or credit card products, particularly in retention strategies.
  • Advanced Excel skills for financial forecasting and data analytics.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to create engaging presentations.
  • Experience in developing and implementing customer communication strategies.
