Contract opportunity: Product Owner - Core Network

Location: Belgium

Length: 6 months initially

Rate: 550-650 euros per day

Role & Responsibilities

• You will be joining the Infrastructure team which is part of the global Solution & Architecture team.
• You will support our LAN, WAN, WiFi infrastructure with focus on SDA design, build and implementation.
• Routing (SDWAN, Backbone, Cloud), Traffic Engineering to manage, control and monitor our WAN's performance .
• You will perform tasks such as Troubleshooting, Training, Monitoring, Implementing changes, and Documenting, …
• You will write (if possible) automation scripts (REST - API integration scripts), i.e. using a programming language like Python.
• You will support in optimizing our network monitoring with Solarwinds, ThousandEyes

Experience Requirements

• Good level of understanding regarding LAN / WAN / WiFi infrastructure.
• Routing & Switching - BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VXLAN, vPC
• Cloud Networking (VNET, ExpressRoute, AWS Direct Connect, …)
• Automation using Cisco Catalyst Center (DNAC)
• Python or any automation programming language is a plus
• Solarwinds & ThousandEyes is a plus.
• Security - knowledge of Firewall Checkpoint, Azure Firewall is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Cisco SDA (Catalyst Center, ISE)
• LAN / WAN / WiFi knowledge (Cisco, WLC)
• Routing BGP, OSPF, Traffic Engineering (On-prem, Backbone, Cloud)
• Trouble shooting using Wireshark, ThousandEyes, …
• Solarwinds (monitoring & alerting)
