Product Support Engineer

A fantastic opportunity for a Product Support Engineer to work for a Cambridge-based software and hardware company whose products vastly improve the efficiency of technology companies and manufacturers worldwide. With a client base spanning a wide range of industries from robotics, communications, SoC, aerospace, medical tech, and research this is a wonderful opportunity to know your work is making an impact across multiple sectors. We are happy to accept applications from top-tier Graduates or experienced Product Support Engineers.

Location: Cambridge - fully on-site due to nature of role

Requirements for Product Support Engineer:

  • Top academics including a minimum of a 2.1 bachelor's degree in a STEM subject such as Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering
  • AAB at A Level or equivalent UCAS points
  • Experience dealing with customers - if applying at Graduate entry-level this could be from summer/internship roles. If applying at a Senior Level these should be in an engineering setting
  • Knowledge of electronic fundamentals such as FPGAs and digital electronics - you don't have to be an expert but some exposure is key
  • An innovative problem solver, with the ability to quickly pick up new technologies
  • Fantastic communication skills - this role will heavily involve interacting with customers including understanding requirements and technical presentations

Responsibilities for Product Support Engineer:

You will be responsible for supporting a range of hardware and software products while ensuring an amazing customer experience. Responsibilities include:

  • Become a highly knowledgeable resource on the usage and implementation of a range of software and hardware products
  • Manage multiple urgent tasks simultaneously while providing outstanding customer support.
  • Enhance product support materials based on successfully resolved customer issues to prevent repeat inquiries.
  • Gather, evaluate, and communicate customer feedback to the team to drive ongoing product improvements.
