Title: Contract Automotive Production Test Validation Engineer

Introductory Paragraph:
We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Automotive Production Test Validation Engineer for our client in Buckinghamshire. As the successful candidate, you will join an innovative team focused on delivering high-quality products to their customers.
Responsibilities:
- Understanding Powertrain component technical requirements and specifications
- Developing DFMEA, PFMEA
- Conducting electronic design validation
- Implementing test methods while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Evaluating the capability of test equipment
Qualifications & Skills Required:
The ideal candidate should have at least 8 years' experience as a production engineer or testing specialist within automotive manufacturing. The following qualifications/skills would be advantageous:
1) Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
2) Knowledge of electrical circuits/ systems; including inverters/motor controllers
3) Experience developing Design FMEAs / Process FMEAs using industry standard tools such as IQ-RM/Raptor software packages etc.
4) An understanding of product development processes from initial concept through end-of-life cycle management is preferred but not mandatory.
