Our client, a well-established and dynamic engineering and manufacturing company are looking to expand! They are currently looking for an Production Assembly Operative to join them.

Production Assembly Operative Roles and Responsibilities:

• Production build of complex electromechanical assemblies
• Follow documented processes and controls
• Use of primarily hand tools to: Install contactors, relays and busbars, manufacture and install LV and HV wiring harnesses, Install printed circuit boards
• Perform in-process and end of line tests following documented processes
• Complete and maintain build records and production documents
• Work consistently to achievable cycle times to support delivery of the production schedule
• Participate in process reviews and support the development of process improvements
• Maintain a tidy and organised work area following 5S principles

The ideal Production Assembly Operative will:

• Experience of assembly work gained within an automotive, aerospace, marine or motorsport manufacturing environment
• Be able to carry out mechanical or electromechanical assemblies
• Have the ability to follow detailed work instructions and drawings
• An understanding of the requirements of a production environment
