A1 Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in Tottenham, London for a Production Controller.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • To gain a full knowledge of the range of services provided in all departments.
  • To support the goals of the Production Department and help to achieve their business targets, scheduling production work, supporting the buying and selling of a range of Litho Print & Envelope services.
  • To be able to produce Time & Sequence plans for speculative or proposed jobs from events submitted by Sales & Client Services staff.
  • Prepare weekly reports for analysis as directed by the management.
  • To purchase stock for production, manage stock control and re-order in a timely fashion.
  • To deputise for the Scheduling Manager and lead daily productions meetings with both Production and Account Managers.
  • Achieve team and individual targets as set by the management team.
  • Liaise with internal departments and suppliers, efficiently answer general enquiries concerning deliveries and production.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in print production environment required.
  • Problem-solving skills to meet customer requirements.
  • Able to cope with multiple projects at one time.
  • Team player, able and willing to assist other members of the team.
  • Good telephone manner and techniques.
  • To be willing and able to work overtime at relatively short notice and to cover holidays and sickness as and when required.
  • IT literate.

Working hours:

Monday to Friday

9am to 5.30pm
