PRODUCTION ENGINEER

MONDAY - THURSDAY: 07.00 - 16.00

FRIDAY: 07.00 - 12.00

£35,000 - £40,000 PER ANNUM

People Solutions are delighted to present the opportunity for a Production Engineer to join our client, who is a global design and manufacturing business based in Wolverhampton.

Day to Day Duties

  • Analysing and reporting on production processes, methods, schedules, downtime, cycle times, availability of machines and waste management
  • Ensuring that manufacturing processes are compliant and comply with government guidelines
  • Production planning to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Analysing production information to predict production costs for future jobs
  • Preparing maintenance schedules to ensure that machinery is well looked after and operational
  • Working with suppliers to determine the best materials for jobs
  • Meeting with clients to deliver design presentations and approvals
  • Testing and analysing prototypes in order to eliminate design flaws

Essential Skills

  • Previous experience as a Production Engineer or similar role is essential
  • Technical Skills
  • Auto Cad
  • Prototype software proficiency
  • Problem solving skills

Desirable Experience

  • Excellent communication and team working skills
  • Efficiency and time–management skills

Training

Full training will be provided 'on the job' and ongoing from day one.
