Production Maintenance Engineer
We require a number of Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineers to join a leading product manufacturer in the Wellingborough area.
DOUBLE DAY shift OR PERMANENT NIGHT shift opportunities.
The Role:-
Engineering support to the manufacturing team. Electrically qualified Technicians to support a mechanically strong team.
- Completing day to day activities of all plant equipment and other technical activities.
- To provide Electrical and Mechanical support to production ensuring optimum performance of all automation machinery. (i.e. packaging, presses, conveyors, palletisers, fillers).
- You will repair contacts, sensors, switches, relays, motors, gear boxes, chains, belts and much more.
- Providing a fast and efficient response time to any breakdowns that occur.
The Candidate:-
- The successful candidate will have completed an engineering apprenticeship/ HNC/HND/ONC/ NVQ or equivalent
- Preferably electrically qualified however can look at mechanically qualified engineers with very good electrical knowledge (60/40)
- Possess a solid background with manufacturing / production maintaining automated machinery or process equipment
- You must be able to communicate effectively have excellent attention to detail and be competent with I.T (CMMS systems)
Shifts:-
Option 1 - Double Days: Salary: £48, 300 (6a.m 2p.m / 2p.m - 10p.m)
- With one Saturday in 4 rostered on (usually on one of the 6-2 weeks)
Option 2 - Perm Nights: Salary: £50,300 (10 p.m - 6a.m)
