The Role:

As the Production Manager, you will lead a team of experienced professionals in our Production/Operations department. You will establish objectives, manage production performance, and introduce new processes to achieve our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily production and delivery processes to meet business goals
  • Implement cost reduction and process improvements for efficiency
  • Manage production scheduling to meet demands
  • Optimise productivity through effective work sequencing
  • Lead and develop team through communication and career development
  • Manage departmental budgets and drive cost-saving initiatives
  • Introduce new products with robust manufacturing and quality controls
  • Inventory reduction
  • Enhance production efficiency and minimise downtime
  • Oversee payroll and overtime management
  • Utilise Lean tools (e.g., 5S, standardisation) for productivity
  • Lead a multi-skilled workforce to meet customer needs
  • Drive root cause analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People (SQDCP) standards


Qualifications / Experience:

This is a wonderful opportunity for an individual with the following:

  • Degree qualification in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering
  • Chartered / Incorporated Engineer
  • Time served apprentice
  • Track record of delivering a world-class operation
  • Proven track record with a successful portfolio of achievements
  • Competent in Operations, Engineering, HS, Quality and HR class leading practices
  • Confident and professional personality
