Permanent, full time role! Production Operatives required to operate laundry machines – washing and drying – at a company in Yate, BS37
  • £28,816 per annum
  • Monday to Friday, 2pm-10pm
  • Half an hour for lunch break (unpaid) and two paid tea breaks (morning and afternoon)
  • Free parking on site
  • 10 minutes walk from Yate train station
  • Full training provided

After probation period you will be entitled to

 About the job
  • Load dirty laundry into washing machines, setting correct wash programme
  • Record times on washing log sheets
  • Unload finished washing machines and transfer to dryers
  • Correctly dealing with dirty and clean garments, without cross contamination
  • Organise drying rails by station, hanging correct paperwork to end of rail and signing off responsibility paperwork
  • Remove dry garments after 24 hours, fold and place in relevant clean laundry bag, checking off 3-way check, paperwork, ticket, and garment.
  • Place clean laundry bags onto the inspection waiting area in day order

The right candidate
  • Must have full UK manual driving licence - as you will be required to occasionally drive a van to deliver stock
  • Comfortable with manual handling
  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to complete paperwork withing the section
  • Basic PC understanding
  • Previous experience in a similar role such as production, warehouse, factory, manufacturing, retail
