Production Operative - Nights

Our client, a leading aerospace engineering firm based in Rochester, are looking to recruit Production Operatives on a Night Shift to assist in the manufacturing, assembly and testing of their products.

Hours of work are Monday-Thursday 6pm-6am. 46 Hours per week. Training will take place on a day shift Monday-Friday 6am-2pm OR Monday-Thursday 730am-430pm and Friday 730am-130pm, 40 hours per week, typically for 1-3 weeks.

Main Duties

• Assembly of wax moulds and wax runner systems
• Use of machinery and hand tools
• Handling delicate runner wax and soluble wax
• Attaching riser system to the wax moulds
• Quality checking products
• Reporting any issues with production machinery to team leaders
• Ensuring the work area is clean and tidy

Requirements

• Experience in a manufacturing warehouse/production environment.
• A light touch as you are handling delicate materials
• A good work ethic, strong attention to detail and excellent time keeping skills.
• You must be physically fit as the role may involve periods of standing and some manual lifting.
• Safety boots will be required, all other PPE provided
