Our client are currently looking for Production Operatives to strengthen the existing team. Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Feeding materials into machinery
  • Using press machines to punch holes into the materials
  • Quality checking parts
  • Packing parts to customer specifications
  • Carrying out machine safety checks, completing relevant paperwork
  • Completing quality documentation
  • General housekeeping (machine and work area)
  • Working to targets

The role involves lifting large items into machinery, depending on the size it could be operating a machine alone or in pairs so it involves consistent manual handling. You will be working a two shift pattern rotating weekly, the hours of work are (Earlies) Monday - Friday 06:55 - 15:00 and (Lates) Monday - Thursday 16:45 - 00:53 and 15.00 - 23.00 on a Friday.

Suitable candidates will ideally have recent experience within a fast paced manufacturing environment although training can be provided.

Rate for this role would be £11.44 Per Hour + 12% shift allowance (£12.81 in total).
