If yes, we would love to hear from you! Our client near St Neots is looking for a Production Operative.

Receipt & Despatch department are responsible for checking, labelling and packing printed material into cores or bags ready for despatch via van, courier or for collection by client. Prints vary in size and weight.

Days/Hours: Monday – Friday/8am-4pm

•             The role will be on an alternating shift pattern of 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm after 3 months.

Salary: £23,920 plus per annum depending on experience

Production Operative Responsibilities:

• Packing materials to their different specifications
• Picking and packing for retail campaigns
• Utilisation of ERP system
• Clearing down in readiness for new jobs
• Loading of outbound vehicles
• Contacting relevant people (internal and external) to chase up missing van jobs
• Picking and packing for retail campaigns

Production Operative Personal Attributes:

• No experience required - Training will be provided
• Must have production background
• Must hold a valid driving licence and own vehcile
• Team Player
• Computer literate
• Physically fit (heavy lifting involved)
• High attention to detail
• Successful individuals will be expected to be driven, self-motivating and hungry to learn a new skill/industry.
