HRGO are recruiting production operatives for our specialist manufacturing client in Birkenhead. You will be part of a growing team in an exciting industry, all positions are being recruited on a temp to perm basis.

Job Title: Production Operative

Location: Birkenhead

Pay: £12 per hour, paid weekly

Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm (3pm finish on a Friday)

Responsibilities

  • Operate hand tools and machinery safely and efficiently to produce construction materials
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Assist in the assembly and fabrication of construction components
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential
  • Proficient in using a variety of hand tools, or be confident and willing to learn how to use them
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
  • This is a physically demanding role
