Our client, based in Newton Aycliffe , Durham, is seeking a number of reliable Production Operators to join their team.

This is a temporary ongoing position with a contract length of at least 6 months, with the potential for Permanent work.

With a competitive hourly rate starting from £16.11 and increasing to £17.26 after 12 weeks, this role offers great earning potential.

As a Production Operator, your main responsibilities will include operating machinery, picking, packing, quality inspection, and ensuring correct packaging matches products and orders. You will also be required to calibrate scales, complete visual checks, and undertake housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe working environment.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have good knowledge of working in a fast-paced environment and be able to follow standard work in a continuous improvement setting. Attention to detail and the ability to work as part of a team are crucial. Additionally, you should possess good physical stamina, good levels of hygiene, and be able to multitask when required.

Shifts: This is a full-time position with a shift pattern of 3 shifts, covering mornings, afternoons, and nights, on a rota operating 24/5. The working hours are 38 hours per week, allowing for a good work-life balance.

No driving is required for this role, and the office is conveniently located just a short walk away from Heighington train station, making it easily accessible.
