Our client is a leading manufacturing organisation, who due to growth, are looking for a Production Planner to join them on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and previously managed resource plans.

Production Planner
Job Description
  • Plan, coordinate and expedite customer orders from engineering release to delivery.
  • Create and manage resource plans, maximising resources and enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Construct Annual Operating Plans (AOP’s) and Rough-Cut Capacity Plans (RCCP’s) based on sales plans and forecasts.
  • Arrange and coordinate weekly project review meetings, issuing project plans and progress actions.
  • Work closely with the Purchasing department to align materials supply with production timescales.
  • Work closely with the Engineering department to create supply and manufacturing plans.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
  • Minimum 2/3 years’ experience working in a Production Planning role or similar
  • Previously worked within the manufacturing/engineering industry
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems.
