We are looking for a Production Planner to join an exciting team based in Dundee (DD2)

Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm

£15.18phr PAYE

12 Month Contract

The Role:

We are recruiting for a Production Planner on behalf of a global healthcare organization. As a Production Planner, you will be responsible for translating commercial demand into effective supply plans for the Dundee site, aligning with the expectations set by the Senior Production Planners.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute effectively to the Dundee Supply Chain Planning, taking full accountability for your workload, and ensuring high standards in accordance with site policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
  • Create and maintain a minimum 24-month supply plan, including scenario planning and non-commercial demand.
  • Issue work order release plans to material handlers.
  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance and Manufacturing to promptly and efficiently resolve on-hold work-in-progress inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with Division policies and procedures, ISO applicable requirements, and GMP regulations.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Undergraduate or bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain related field.
  • Experience within the life sciences or similarly regulated industry (in-vitro diagnostics preferred), with demonstrated experience in planning, materials management, manufacturing, purchasing, inventory control, and/or finance.
  • Knowledge of supply chain functions and MRP systems.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Aptitude for working on complex problems where analysis of situations or data involves multiple competing factors.
