Our client, who is the manufacturing sector, is going through a period of growth and looking for a Production Administrator to join the team and support the Operations Director. You ideally will come from a similar industry where use of an MRP system has been used alongside Apple software such as Pages (Word) and Numbers (Excel). Full or part time hours are available for this role but a presence on site is required 5 days per week, minimum 5 hours per day.

Main Duties

  • Updating job cards on the MRP system
  • Working alongside sales team to understand demand and ensure production plan supports this. Monitor the system for any changes and ensure production plan is updated.
  • Working with purchasing team to ensure components are available to support production plan.
  • Communicate with internal teams any issues that may affect customers.
  • General administrative support to the production and quality team.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills, time management, and ability to handle general office tasks.
  • High accuracy with data input with a strong attention to detail.
  • Previous experience with production or manufacturing administration would be ideal.
  • Experience of using MRP systems and Apple Mac would be advantage
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt quickly to demand.

Salary and Benefits

  • £13.00 per hour
