Hours Monday – Friday 7.30am-4.30pm

Manucomm are currently seeking a Production Supervisor for a family owned FMCG manufacturer based near Yeovil in Sparkford.  This is a newly created role and the successful Production Supervisor will act as an interface between the Production area and the senior management team. 

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing production and ensuring the development of staff (approx. 25) so will need to be hands on and be able to demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills.

You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of production, ensuring company Health & Safety, Food Safety and Quality standards are maintained on the factory floor and will report into the factory manager.

Production Supervisor Skills / Experience Required:

• Must have experience working within a BRC Food / Drink /packaging  manufacturing environment
• Excellent leadership skills
• Be able to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Be hands on and lead by example
• Ideally be able to operate a forklift
• Happy working with planning
• Happy managing / overseeing a team or circa 25 staff

Commutable from Taunton, Yeovil, Shepton mallet, Evercreech, Bruton, Wincanton, Ditcheat, Glastonbury, Street, Bridgwater and  surrounding areas
