Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production management, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to lead a team effectively. This role is crucial in ensuring that our production processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules.
• Monitor production processes to maintain high-quality standards and minimize waste.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a safe working environment.
• Train and mentor production staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments, including quality control, maintenance, and logistics, to optimize production efficiency.
• Track production metrics and generate reports for senior management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any production issues promptly to avoid disruptions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure.
• Proficiency in production management software and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime, as needed.

Education:

• Relevant certifications in production management or lean manufacturing are a plus.

Pay Rate:

• £13.70 per hour
