Sunday - Thursday: 10.00PM - 6.00AM

Day to Day Duties

  •  Works closely with the Production Manager on all Operational Issues
  •  Responsible for the complete understanding off all areas under the production control and supervision of all production employees
  •  Planning and organizing production schedules
  •  Help maintain outputs set by the Production Manager, with the ultimate goal of customer satisfaction in mind
  •  Ensure compliance to Health & Safety on site at all times
  •  Assisting in the development and the maintenance of safety standards to provide a safe working environment for all employees
  •  Assisting in the annual implementation and reviewing of risk assessments
  •  Ensures all standards policies and procedures are adhered to within your area of your control
  •  Ensures preventative maintenance is carried out as per the agreed schedules and reacts quickly and strategically to any machine breakdowns
  •  Assist the Production Manager with any site facility issues
  •  Maintain Quality standards throughout the operational process and assists and develops process improvements to drive forward
  •  Maintain customer delivery performance of 97%
  •  Maintain, update & communicate “Coms Zone” Boards

Essential Skills

  • Knowledge of a production facility and manufacturing processes 
  • Leadership skills

  • Knowledge of goods in and dispatch functions within an operational facility.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Desirable Experience

  • Knowledge of the metal industry 
  • Experience using stelplan
