Production Team Leader

Production Team Leader - Manufacturing - Bolton

The Recruitment Co are recruiting for an experienced Production Team Leader to join our client in Bolton who develop, manufacture and sell automotive components. They are looking for someone who is able to identify areas of improvement in performance within the team and be able to communicate this back to the Production Manager. Salary: Competitive

Hours: 3 Shift Weekly Rotation - 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm/10pm-6am + overtime available

In this role you will lead the Production Line Team to achieve daily targets relating to Safety, People,
Quality, Delivery and Cost. Support with improvement team activities and develop your team. Conduct
area audits and follow through with corrective actions.

What you'll be doing:
? Ownership of meetings, coordination and KPI's for allocated team
? Identifying areas of improvement and relaying this up the chain of command
? Drive good health and safety practises across the team
? Implementation of 5S
? Encouraging & supporting operatives to achieve line, team & Skill Block requirements
? Development and training of team members
What you need:
? Experience as a Team Leader in a manufacturing environment (automotive experience would be
a bonus
? Driven with a great work ethic
? Strong relationship building skills
? Experience of implementing and reviewing KPIs
? Staff training experience
