Niche UK insurance law firm is looking for a professional indemnity specialist to join its department dealing with financial and professional claims and providing coverage advice.

Role Overview

You will join an ABS connected to an established insurer that deals with a wide variety of claims primarily arising from professional negligence connected to the financial services sector. You will provide advice on liability and coverage.

In particular this will focus on claims against independent financial advisors. You will be expected to manage your own independent caseload.

Candidate Profile

The firm is seeking an insurance litigation solicitor who can demonstrate:

  • Prior experienced gained at a recognised professional indemnity department.
  • Qualified solicitor. As a guideline our client is looking for someone with a minimum of 4 years post qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Must have experience defending claims against independent financial advisors and capable of handling a caseload where the majority of the caseload are these claims.
  • Someone who can be client facing and demonstrate an overriding commercial approach.

      • Salary £95000-110000 dependant upon experience
