The Role

The firm is seeking an experienced Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) to join the Insurance and Healthcare segment in Manchester. The successful candidate will provide market affairs and legal support, enhancing the team’s external profile and expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively promote the firm’s legal services and expertise
  • Stay abreast of market trends and legal developments
  • Write articles and leadership reports on pertinent changes
  • Establish and maintain professional networks and memberships
  • Provide training on legal and regulatory developments
  • Develop and deliver training plans and inductions
  • Additional duties as required within the remit of the role

Ideal Candidate

  • UK qualified lawyer or segment specialist with a strong academic background
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in private practice or relevant segment
  • Experience in delivering market affairs and knowledge management content is beneficial
  • Comprehensive understanding of legal and market trends within the segment
  • Proven ability to write, present, and train on legal and market developments
  • Keen ability to identify relevant issues
