We are now looking for a Programme Lead to make an impact with our Climate Diplomacy & Geopolitics (CDG) division on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Role

As a Programme Lead, you will advance international co-operation and climate diplomacy efforts for our organisation and stakeholders around the world.

Specifically, you will work with international bodies and NGOs such as UNFCCC, COP, G7, G20, the UN to further our international climate goals.

You will build and maintain critical relationships, driving political analysis, research, advocacy and communications initiatives to facilitate ambitious, effective climate co-operation in multilateral venues.

Working closely with relevant teams on climate transition on climate transition issues, development, financing, and energy transition, you'll help to shape and drive the 2025 Climate Ambition moment.

About You

To be considered as a Programme Lead, you will need:

- A significant track record of achievements in building consensus and facilitating dialogue and agreement on sensitive issues
- Demonstrable experience working on foreign policy and international issues in both analytical and influencing roles, ideally in multilateral contexts and venues related to the climate
- Experience managing complex projects, teams, budgets and donor relationships
- A track record of thought leadership and problem-solving, including authorship of significant reports and comment pieces
- The ability to operate confidently at a high level in government, business, media and civil society
