A government body that is responsible for managing, maintaining and auditing nuclear site safety that is based in the Warrington area.
Your new role
Working in a busy and expanding project team, you will be responsible for project administration within the quality division and take ownership of the project controls, budgets and forecast data. You will support leadership with forecasts for project expenditure as well as markers for project performance. Working closely with internal business teams, you will be instrumental in the preparation of monthly accruals, raising project purchase orders and any other ad hoc administration as required by the project and programme managers. You will be working in a highly regulated environment factoring in health & safety, sustainability, assurance and performance improvements at all times. You will be based on a secure site Monday to Friday, for your full-time working week. Initially a 6-month contract, this post has scope for extension.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience working in the nuclear industry would be highly advantageous for this post, however, other highly regulated and secure industries will be considered. Your project-based experience will enable you to work in a fast paced and highly confidential environment, whilst being able to produce work to a high standard. Used to working with data, you will feel comfortable relaying project reporting data to management as well as producing reports. Your well developed communication skills will allow you to communicate effectively with varying levels of seniority both internally and with external stakeholders. You will be meticulously organised and take pride in your planning skills. Available at short notice and for the duration.
What you'll get in return
Working with an interesting project and a reputable employer in the nuclear sector, you will have full-time working hours (37.5 hours) Monday to Friday, based in the Warrington area. You will have an hourly rate of £15.90ph + PAYE holiday uplift, taking you to £17.80ph. You will have access to free on-site parking. This post will be for circa 6 months and add excellent industry exposure to your CV!
