Project and Technical Engineer (Manufacturing / Engineering Services)
Salary: Competitive Base Salary + Benefits - Circa £40-45K

Murray Myers is pleased to be partnering with a Worcestershire based manufacturer to source a Project Engineer. As Project Engineer, you will assist the Operations department to ensure compliance with legislation. We are seeking a proactive and confident individual to support the growth of the business.

The Company

Our client specialises in maximising the service performance of process plant and equipment. They offer a package of design, manufacture, protection and site installation of process plant equipment. Our client boasts an international customer base which requires them to operate to international standards of best practice within quality control, environmental and health and safety.

The Role

As Project Engineer you will:

• Ensure projects both in-house and on-site are managed and organised in a cost effective and safe manner
• Work closely with colleagues to engage with a wide range of stakeholders
• Manage and control orders received from customers
• Administration of site project work areas
• Carry out and complete design engineering of contracts from inputs received through the sales department
• Review material usage on contracts assisting in ensuring that materials are readily available in line with contractual requirements to fulfil contractual obligations
• Encourage all personnel in their tasks to promote a H&S, QCD driven conscious workforce

Experience

• Proven project and technical experience
• Previous experience within an engineering fabrication company
• Mechanical understanding and solid manufacturing industry knowledge
• Understanding of site services
