Are you ready to take on a new challenge as a Project Director?

 
This is a great opportunity to join an exciting industry, where you will be responsible for delivering a project and leading the project team. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the project strategy and scope, managing project governance, and ensuring successful project delivery within budget and timeline constraints.  If you are from a manufacturing, electronics or engineering background read on!  Due to the nature of the role, you will need to have been working in the UK for the last 5 years and be eligible for SC clearance.
 

  • Developing, managing, and maintaining the project plan, monitoring project performance against baseline and making timely decisions to keep the project on track.
  • Engaging with clients, team members, subcontractors and stakeholders to ensure expectations are in sync with project developments.
  • Designing the framework for each stage of the project, whist leading and motivating the project team to drive project success.
  • Assessing and documenting the project's progress and performance. Creating status reports, dashboards and presentations for stakeholders, emphasising key achievements, potential risks and ongoing issues.
 Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience leading and delivering complex technical projects
  • Experience as a Project or Programme Director within a manufacturing/electronics environment.
  • Experience working in a complex business, managing high-value complex bids and projects.
  • Good understanding of project/programme management techniques and methods.
  • Experience of contractual negotiations and contract management.
