Project Engineer

Science Solutions are looking to recruit a Project Engineer for one of our clients based in the Dorset area.

In order to be considered for the role of Project Engineer you must be degree educated in Materials Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a closely related subject. You must also have previous experience in a customer facing role.

As a Project Engineer you will be responsible for managing current and new customer accounts.

Role requirements

• Degree educated in Materials Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a closely related subject.
• Previous experience in industry in a customer facing position.
• Experience with composite materials and glass reinforced materials and manufacturing processes behind them.
• Be willing to travel within the UK and overseas as and when required.

Role responsibilities

• Liaise with current customers and managing their accounts.
• Maintain full and up to date knowledge of relevant technical and quality areas.
• Produce clear work instruction for manufacturing staff on a daily basis.
• Actively work across cross functional teams such as production, manufacturing and quality to create a smooth working process.
