Elevation recruitment group are delighted to be working with a leading chemicals manufacturing business based in Sheffield, who are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join the team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a proven background in project management, to implement key projects to drive the sites performance. 

As the Project Engineer you will be:

  • Responsible for leading and delivery on key CAPITAL projects from cradle to grave
  • Identify areas for continuous improvement across the site, aiming to increase production volumes whilst maintaining site safety standards inline with COMAH
  • Manage project contractors, review RAMS and issue PTW's
  • Regularly update both internal and external stakeholders 

To be considered for the Project Engineer role you will need:

  • HNC/HND or degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering
  • Previous experience in hazardous manufacturing environment
  • NEBOSH and/or IOSH is highly desirable however not essential
  • 2 years Project management experience, specifically in CAPITAL / CAPEX
  • Prince2 or equivalent is highly desirable
  • Experience in RAMS and PTW
