What You'll Be Doing:
As a Project Engineer, you'll be the driving force behind project development, ensuring that medical devices meet the highest standards. Here's what your day-to-day will look like:
- Leading the Charge: Guide the project team, manage timelines, and ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Documentation Guru: Create and manage technical files for regulatory submissions, ensuring compliance with ISO 13485 and other regulatory standards.
- Customer Collaboration: Work closely with customers to understand their needs and translate them into innovative device designs.
- Teamwork: Partner with design teams, vendors, and subcontractors to bring projects to life.
- Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments and hazard analysis to ensure product safety and conformance.
- Regular Meetings: Organise and attend meetings to keep everyone on the same page.
- Travel: Occasionally travel within the UK to meet project needs.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in the medical device development field.
- Education: A degree in Bio Engineering, Medical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Project Management: Proven experience in managing medical device projects.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with UKCA, MDR, FDA regulations.
- Skills: Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Office is a must.
- Documentation: Excellent writing skills for creating precise and clear project documents.
