Key Responsibilities - Project Estimator (Fabrication)

- Appraisal and evaluation of client tender requirements, technical drawings, documentation and specifications in bid preparation

- Accurate pricing of labour, materials, and subcontract processes including third-party contributions.

- Collaborate with suppliers, sub-contractors and other departments to facilitate accurate labour costings.

- Provide early-stage project costing plans

- Communicate with clients and suppliers as required.

- Preparation of final quotations and tenders including technical details.

- Assistance to internal departments with budgets at different stages of projects.

Requirements - Project Estimator (Fabrication)

- Previous experience in an estimating role from a fabrication background

- Excels in working alone and in part of a team

- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office products

- Ability to read technical engineering drawings

- Ability to communicate with clients and suppliers on a technical level

- Strong time management/prioritisation skills

- Competent in computerised estimating and software including general I.T.
