Job Title: Project Manager - Domestic Housing Groundworks
Location: Basingstoke, UK
Salary: £75,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all phases of construction projects, from planning and design to execution and completion.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and other legal requirements.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
- Prepare and present project reports and updates to senior management and clients.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, specifically in domestic housing groundworks, roads, and sewers.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage project teams.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus.
