Job Title: Project Manager – DTS

Location: Warton. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: £54,793 + depending on experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • Facilitate the uptake of projects by planning development of project collateral, supporting and evaluating campaigns, and monitoring project performance, rolling out Project trials and Project launches
  • Create the business readiness plan, taking into consideration deployment, data, capability (training and engagement activities) and any business activities required to integrate new digital processes or jobs into the “business as usual” environment
  • Determine the readiness levels of business users with regard to upcoming changes; uncovers readiness gaps and creates and implements action plans to close the gaps prior to going live
  • Assist the user community in the provision of transition support and change planning, and liaises with the project team
  • Monitor and report the progress of business readiness targets, business engagement
  • Deal with problems and issues, managing resolutions, corrective actions, lessons learned and the collection and dissemination of relevant information
  • Collect and use feedback from customers and stakeholders to help measure effectiveness of stakeholder management

Your skills and experiences:

  • Relevant vocational qualification or equivalent experience (e.g. HNC / Prince 2 Foundations / Computer Science Degree)
  • Be trained at least to ITIL foundation and either appropriate ITIL Intermediate or other appropriate capability training
  • Knowledge of working within a SIAM (service integration and management) operating model would be beneficial
  • Use of Atlassian tools inc Jira, Big Picture, Confluence Knowledge and some experience of Agile
  • Ability to suggest improvements to Project Management activities (scope, schedule, resources, risk management) for the design, development, release, deployment of toolsets such as Cobra, PM Compass, AutoCSR, and PM & Finance reporting systems

The Transformation – Digital & Technology Services (DTS) team:

As the Project Manager responsible for the Digital aspects of the Air PM functional roadmap (including the Project Control Systems Modernisation work stream) you will be part of the Digital Technology, Data & Infrastructure transformation team that provides digital technology solutions into the Air Sector business.

The project work within the team ranges from technology and applications to business change focused on transition and transformation aligned customer tactical and strategic road maps
