Location: Blackburn, with occasional (paid for) travel to nearby depots - 45p per mile
Salary: £59,000 - £67,000 per annum
Contract Type: Fixed-term contract (18 months) with potential to go permanent afterwards.
Start Date: September 2024
Working Hours: 9-5 Monday to Friday or similar, happy to flex this if needed. 37.5 hours per week.

We are recruiting on behalf of an energy provider committed to delivering reliable and sustainable energy solutions across the UK.

Role Overview:
As a Project Manager – Resource Allocation, you will lead a strategic project, managing timeframes, driving change, and overseeing process, behavioural, IT, and engagement changes. You will engage with stakeholders, organize workshops, track project progress, and produce reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project activities to meet goals within prescribed timeframes and budgets.
  • Manage business case writing, planning, and directing project activities.
  • Align project goals with business objectives and the project delivery lifecycle.
  • Stakeholder mapping and management.
  • Ensure project consistency and alignment with PMO requirements.
  • Establish resourcing plans and coordinate project personnel.
  • Proactively manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proven experience in Business Change/IT project environments.
  • PRINCE2, PMI, MSP, Agile, or similar qualification.
  • Experience with agile and product line approaches.
  • Ability to manage multi-skilled teams in a matrix environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong customer focus.
