This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager to join a rapidly expanding main contractor that specialises in the construction, refurbishment, and maintenance projects. You will be joining a forward-thinking business that is going through a period of high growth.

This multi-disciplinary chartered construction company have had massive success in the industry, doubling their turnover year on year. They cover construction, refurbishment, and maintenance projects for public and private sector clients valued up to £1 million. The business has a dynamic and inclusive culture that encourages support, training, and development across all areas. Due to their growing order book, they are looking to bring a Project Manager into the business to primarily work on MOD and MOJ contracts & help support the next growth phase.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the project life cycle from start to finish, including preconstruction meetings, scheduling, managing budgets, monitoring, resource management, client liaison, and internal reporting. This role will be split between office and site for the probationary period, with the opportunity to work from home once you're fully settled in the role & company.

The ideal candidate will have Project Management experience working on some form of commercial projects, you will have a can-do attitude and a drive to exceed expectations. This would suit someone based commutable distance from Hemel Hempstead, but also happy to travel to sites.

The Role:

• Manage and oversee the entire project life cycle from cradle to grave
• Scheduling, managing budgets, monitoring, resource management, client liaison, and internal reporting.
• Effectively communicate with internal teams and build relationships with clients
• Assist other departments as and when required
• Office based in Hemel Hempstead, with travel to site & work from home available after 3 months

The Person:

• Project Manager with experience in delivering commercial projects (construction, refurbishment, or maintenance)
• Self-motivated and looking to progress your career
• Full UK Driving License
• Either current holder of SC (security clearance) or happy to be put through SC clearance
• Commutable distance from Hemel Hempstead
