A top tier fintech business based in London, with a global presence are on the hunt for a junior/mid level Project Manager to join it’s trading technology team. Your role will be to help facilitate the growth of technology trading platforms within the group, working closely with traders, portfolio managers and analysts.

The successful candidate will consult with users to understand business requirements, prioritising technology requests and logging project updates to project manage build-outs of trading platforms.

Key requirements:

  • No more than 4-5 years’ experience (this is a junior/mid level role) in professional project management/business analysis, ideally within trading or buy-side finance
  • Exposure to financial services/front office banking, ideally with knowledge of FX, Equities or electronic trading
  • Prior experience in analysing business needs within a technology application/software environment
  • Full understanding of technology suite workflows from data, infrastructure, trading tools and software platforms, and work with engineering teams
  • Able to juggle multiple projects at one go
  • Strong communicator, document writer and stakeholder manager
  • Exposure to PM methodologies such as agile and waterfall
  • PRINCE2
  • Confluence and JIRA exposure
