An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Project Manager to join a prominent construction main contractor on a permanent basis. In this role, you will oversee a prestigious project, ensuring timely delivery within budget and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities:
• Site planning, design, programming and the build process life cycle process
• Coordinate work of subcontractors for various phases
• Establish timelines, calculate labour and material costs
• Generate and issue regular internal and external project reporting
• Report the progress and any necessary modifications of plans
• Liaise and chair meetings with site staff and clients
• Ensure the project is completed on time, within scope and budget
• Maintain & develop overall strategy for the project
• Manage and maintain a clear staffing structure
• Procure materials, plant and sub-contractors
• Implement & ensure all works carried out are accordance with all HS&E and the site Health Safety and Environmental Plans
• Mitigate legal issues and defects liability for the business
• Will oversee production from cradle to grave and have overall strategy for the project
Skills:
• Previous experience of managing multi million pound schemes
• Construction related qualification
• In date First Aid at work, SMSTS, CSCS – Managers Card
• Relevant driving licence
• Strong written, oral communication skills and negotiation
• Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office and Project
• Previous experience in a similar role with a main contractor
