Are you an experienced Project Manager? Do you have strong knowledge of resource management? Have you worked in a manufacturing environment? If so, our client, an aerospace manufacturer, is recruiting for a Project Manager for their site in Alcester. The role will involve day to day management of a team of 8 and being responsible for overseeing the on-time delivery of customer NPDI projects.

Job Description
  • Overseeing NPDI project management, focusing on recovery and delivering customer orders within budget and specifications.
  • Managing and prioritizing internal resources, ensuring quality-focused, right-first-time outcomes and effective lesson sharing.
  • Leading a team of 8, including 3 project leads, to achieve 100% on-time delivery and strong NPDI project execution.
  • Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers, managing resources and ensuring raw material availability.
  • Joining customer calls and manage internal stakeholders to meet committed timescales, emphasizing right-first-time outcomes.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
  • Strong resource management experience.
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing techniques and materials including pressing, 5 axis laser welding, and sheet metal.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
