6 month project, part time and full time applications will be considered. Public sector experience is essential.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in the public sector, dealing with investment funds, working with the public and businesses on long term investment opportunities.
Hybrid working is possible with this role and a flexible approach as some meeting and events will be in the evening.
To project manage and deliver on the long term projects, focussing on the economic and skills sector.
Duties include:
Support with initiatives to ensure that funds are being utilised within the guidance
Coordinate and administer the various project team meetings, including project team progress meetings, working Groups, and meeting with key community forums etc.
Ensure that programmes have a clear audit trail of how the community has been consulted and suggested projects.
Engage with a variety of community groups and forums to ensure that they are fully consulted with and that their priorities are taken into account.
Undertake reviews of relevant previous consultations and draft reports summarising the communities views and priorities.
Develop a range of resources that can be used to engage with the community
To lead on the development and maintenance of webpages and social media accounts
Design and implement a prioritisation scoring process that ensures that all appropriate stakeholders are involved with the process and supportive of the outcome.
Scope out prioritised projects to establish appropriate activities, budgets and outputs and outcomes can be achieved.
Maintain a central dashboard of key data and research
To undertake activity that supports the towns visitor economy and promotes it as a visitor destination
