Project Manager needed in Bristol, £361.44 per day PAYE - Reference: 5251437

The programme set up needs to be improved – governance, meetings structures, workstreams, audit trails. This role will support this process.
1. Lead the governance and audit workstream – review SharePoint folder, obtain all required documentation, conduct a review to ensure that all the required documentation is in place and approved with a particular focus on PID or scope documents.
2. Review the schedules with the PMO team and ensure that the programme schedule is updated and reviewed, ensure that key decisions are logged in the forward plan and maintained.
3. Support the programme manager in reshaping the required governance/meeting structure and with the project support officer - ensure information is prepared in advance of all meetings and actions are being tracked.
4. Support the monthly production of progress reports.
5. Support the programme manager in completing the programme level execution plan, and the production of a PID and plan for each workstream – comms, data, governance/audit trail, assurance, risk, resources.
6. Support the preparation of board papers/committee/box papers and like across the programme as required.

You will ideally have Experience in:
1. Experience in transport infrastructure projects in particular communications, traffic management/network management.
2. Experience of working on projects and with stakeholders in a local political environment.
3. Experience of having written and put into practice in a project environment, the full range of project management tools i.e. PID, briefs, project plans, highlight report, risk register etc.
4. Experience of having managed a budget including monitoring, review and reporting.
5. Experience of having worked across multidisciplinary teams i.e. Highways, Road Safety, Legal, Comms, finance including facilitating meetings, reporting progress and seeking input.
6. Experience of managing complex benefit assessment and assurance deliverables to further project development.
7. Experience of management and review of design development for complex infrastructure projects up to outline design.
8. Experience of managing political and third-party stakeholders.

This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
