We are working alongside a long standing client of Si Recruitment located near Northallerton, North Yorkshire, who due to growth, is looking to appoint an experienced and forward-thinking Project Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

You will collaborate with some of the industry's top experts to understand their vision and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the agreed specifications while maintaining high-quality standards. You will coordinate and manage multiple projects from inception to completion, working closely with our trusted industry partners and supply chains. Your responsibilities will include conducting site surveys to obtain necessary dimensions, attending site meetings to understand key timelines, and gathering crucial access information.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Where necessary meet with designers prior to quoting to confirm technical design detail. Agree amendments to specification at this point. Feedback the information to the internal project teams ensuring the quote and plans are produced accurately.
  • Complete programme of works for your project where required using smartsheets and, Database and Hubspot. ensuring the project is delivered on time and within budget.
  • On a weekly basis, liaise with the relevant designers / project managers / contractors to provide the internal project team and planning function with updated handover dates.
  • Attend pre-start and/or site meetings where necessary throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Where required, survey the site using the laser where possible and provide a thorough report detailing critical dimensions, photographs, access restrictions and any other information needed for a successful installation.
  • Liaise with contractors and internal trusted suppliers post-order to ensure date targets are met.
  • Do programme updates with suppliers to ensure that they are on track and ensure they update head of operations when they are due to arrive to the warehouse.
  • QC products for your project for correct dimensions, finishers etc prior to delivery.
  • Ensure that final payment is received for clients that are not on account prior to delivery.
  • Book in with the client / contractor all deliveries ensuring that the database is updated and head of operations informed.
  • Support the sales team to completed bespoke pricing for projects as and when required.
  • Once project is delivered carryout a end of project review with the project team ensuring you log all Lessons learnt and put improvement methods in place.

Business Development

  • To be available to the wider team to visit new or existing clients and provide feedback to the relevant Project coordinator
  • Liaise with Head of sales and BD Manager to follow up any business development leads with either a phone call or visit as appropriate.
