A leading Investment Bank is seeking a senior Project Manager to work in the Program Execution & Transformation team on a Global Markets Issuance Governance Project.

CONTRACT ROLE - Initial 9 Months
London - Office - 2 days / Remote - 2 days
£750 - £850/day (Umbrella)

The implementation will be focussed on defining and documenting the Target Operating Model for the Global Markets Issuance business i.e. issuance of structured notes. The governance of the Global Markets Issuance will include changes throughout the products lifecycle and front to back processes.

Key responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the implementation of a Global Markets Issuance Governance Project.
  • Chair Project Working Groups.
  • Stakeholder management across Business, Legal, Compliance, Risk functions, Operations / Settlements, Technology and any other impacted stakeholders.
  • Management of Business Analysts where required.

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Experience working on projects with structured notes e.g. MiFID II Product Governance, UK Consumer Duty, PRIIPs.
  • Recent experience working on the Sell Side rather than the Buy Side
  • Experience implementing Front to Back Target Operating Model related projects.
  • Proven track record of project delivery within a Regulatory framework, from legal interpretation, business impact analysis, solution and handover to BAU.
  • Must have experience as a Programme / Project Manager working with the Business (Business Managers, Front Office Trading & Sales), Risk Functions (Market, Credit Risk) and Compliance.
