Project Manager

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a strong background on technical projects?

Our Edinburgh based client is looking for a Project Manager to join their team on an initial 6-month contract. The successful applicant will join the business at a time when then they are investing in their digital estate and will provide effective project and change management for strategic IT and business change projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee project plans, risk management and coordination of multidisciplinary teams across various projects
• Identify and manage interdependencies with other projects, ensuring that nay issues or changes are effectively addressed and mitigated
• Collaborate closely with programme managers to ensure project objectives are achieved, deliverables are met and risks are proactively mitigated or escalated as necessary
• Inspire and coordinate project teams and stakeholders to meet project deadlines and goals
• Partner with teams and stakeholders to collect and document requirements, supporting procurement and implementation initiatives which may include leading workshops.

Key Applicant Requirements

• Extensive experience managing projects and delivering solutions in complex environments
• Skilled in developing and managing project plans, risks and documentation
• Proven ability to engage matrix teams and stakeholders to meet project goals with scope, budget and timeline
• Experience leading digital transformation projects involving IT and business changes
• Strong oral and written communication skills including preparing reports for sponsors and programme managers
• Proficient in business analysis tools and techniques
• Experience in using Project Management tools
• Strong management skills with a proven ability to identify potential issues and take timely effective action

This role is based in Edinburgh with a hybrid working option available so applicants must be based within a commutable distance. The role is Inside IR35.
