Project Quantity Surveyor - Construction

Northeast
Full Time | Monday to Friday | 07:30 - 17:00
Contract - 55 weeks
Rate Negotiable depending on experience

I am really excited to be supporting a regional contractor in securing the operational team for a new construction project in the northeast.

They are looking for an experienced Principal Contracting Project QS to manage the commercials on a project valued at circa £7million with a 55 week programme. Scope of works involves multiple buildings, external works, groundworks.

The Role
* You will oversee the commercial aspects of the project
* Draft up subcontracts back to back with main contract
* Place orders for approximately 10 subcontractors
* Produce and receive monthly valuations
* Produce monthly CVR for profitability review and provide fiscal management

Requirements;
To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following;
* Extensive experience as Project QS on behalf of the Principal Contractor
* Proven ability on projects valued at £7million
You must also have the following;
* Degree in Quantity Surveying or related subject and extensive experience

This is a freelance position working via Search Consultancy for a 55 week duration.
The rate is negotiable depending on experience.
