We are delighed to have partnered with an award-winning designer and manufacturer of environmental building products on their recruitment journey.

Our client are are at the forefront of their industry, serving a diverse clientele that includes data centres, Energy from Waste (EFW) plants, hospitals, universities, and major infrastructure like the London Underground and airports.

This is a newly created role within their Special Projects Team. The role offers the successful candidate a clear career path for individuals with ambition and drive.

As a Project Administrator, you will work with various stakeholders, liaising with both internal and external clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Attending contract meetings and taking detailed notes.
  • Coordinating schedules and preparing information for meetings and site visits.
  • Reporting and managing defects.
  • Processing sample products.
  • Compiling cost sheets, raising production purchase orders, and handling invoices.
  • Gathering data for billing purposes.
  • Administering project schedules.
  • Assisting with surveys alongside engineers or project managers.
  • Processing project documentation and ensuring complete records are maintained for handover to Project Managers.
  • Managing general project and client paperwork.

The Successful Candidate:

  • A good general education, ideally to at least A-level standard.
  • Relevant experience in an administrative or customer-focused role.
  • Some experience and understanding of project work, preferably in construction.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent interpersonal and phone skills.
  • High levels of thoroughness, accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work as part of a busy team.
  • The ability to quickly learn and adapt to specialised systems.
