Project Support Officer / Consultant (Power BI reports) - Banking Client - Brussels

Rate 500 - 600 per day

Duration - 3 months - Urgent

Hybrid working: Must be able to be in Brussels for team meetings and workshops

Role - Key responsibilities
As team member of the Project Support, Reporting and Change squad, the incumbent will be expected to manage some run activities while contributing at the same time to a high degree of change and transformation.

Main activities:

- Develop and maintain Power BI reports and Dashboards:
o Design, create and manage interactive power BI dashboards to provide actionable insights to stakeholders
o Perform data analysis and translate these findings into visually compelling reports
o Integrate and transform data from multiple sources using Power Query, ensuring data accuracy and consistency
o Provide training and support to team members on Power BI functionalities
o Monitor and optimize the performance of Power BI reports to ensure efficient data processing and quick response times
o Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of data sources, data models, and user guides to facilitate knowledge sharing and continuity
- Partner Relationship coordination and management :
o Support the quarterly service performance reviews with our internal clients
o Coordinate and collaborate with BRM to gather the necessary data and information required for service dialogue, provide meeting minutes and follow-up on actions
o Prepare quarterly reports for our internal clients, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards
o Manage the timeline to ensure that all the service dialogues packs are completed within established deadlines, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and quality
o Held on a monthly basis the governance with BRM through the managed relationship Guild
- Lead continuous improvement in relation to the service dialogue governance
- Support the department in optimising the data analysis and reporting tools
- Support the department in maintaining up to date documentation on processes, procedures and best practices
- Support the department in maintaining a strong control environment


Required skills:
Technical knowledge and professional experience
- Strong project and coordination management skills, ability to manage several projects simultaneously with various levels of complexity
- Fully fluent in English is a mandatory requirement
- Strong analytical skills and data-mindset, ability to identify actionable next steps and to draw conclusions and make recommendations in a concise way
- Advanced skills in creating and managing Power BI reports and data models
- Experience with documenting processes, controls and best practices
- Familiarity with technology infrastructure, software and services commonly used in the industry
- Knowledge of IT governance frameworks and best practices is a plus
- Stakeholders Management: Builds and maintains operational network of relationships, mainly with peers. Influences in own domain of expertise, on well defined tactical or technical matters. Takes action to resolve conflicts with appropriate level of support from peers and/or management.
