Our client, a global automotive company based near Epsom, Surrey, is looking for a confident and highly organised Project Support Specialist to join their team to work on 2 projects over the next 12 months. In this role, you will provide support to the team where you will be using your reporting and project management skills to ensure both projects are delivered effectively.

The successful individual will have experience of Project Management in an administrative capacity, where you can demonstrate your outstanding project and operational skills. The individual must be customer centric with a strong customer - focus mindset, innovative and a fantastic communicator. Confidence in proactive communication within the team and with wider business colleagues is crucial.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage key stakeholders to keep project trackers accurate and up to date.
  • Work with project suppliers to support project roll-out.
  • Coordinate weekly, monthly and quarterly meeting schedules with relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and update presentation decks and reporting.
  • Support Franchising Manager with raising Purchase Orders, Invoicing and tracking budgets.
  • Manage Pre-Requisite process, from issuing Starter Packs to chasing overdue returns.
  • Provide progress updates and monitor milestone deliverables, escalating where necessary.
  • Represent the team in stakeholder meetings where relevant.

You’ll need to be:

  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, Power BI is advantageous.
  • Inquisitive, innovative with an open mind-set.
  • Ability to challenge and come up with ideas.
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
  • Disciplined, punctual but with a flexible approach to work.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across different business areas (internal and external).
  • Excellent attention to detail, with ability to identify gaps or problems in data and information and escalate accordingly.

Desirable

  • Interest in automotive sector, mobility or transport solutions.
  • Degree level education
