Hays is collaborating with the local council to recruit a dedicated Sport Development Officer. This role is pivotal in supporting and assisting the development of sport and physical activity programmes across the City of Birmingham. It offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the promotion and implementation of the Sport and Physical Activity Strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support leisure facility planning and identify future opportunities to enhance the sport and leisure services.
• Address inequalities by identifying and delivering a range of interventions.
• Collaborate with community clubs and organisations to identify capital solutions and support the development of sustainable plans.
  
  Qualifications and Skills:
• Experience in sports development or a related field.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with community clubs and organisations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
